The dairy originated in Borore in the locality of Ulmos, within the Marghine area, a territory particularly rich in natural pastures. Numerous pabular qualities impart optimal nutritional elements to the milk that comes from these areas.
Following the teachings of Mamma Anna and our father, Giovanni, we children sought to realise their dream by setting up the Sanna Artisanal Dairy.
Our mission is to produce high-quality Sardinian cheeses, beginning with a rigorous milk selection and using modern processing techniques that fully respect our local dairy traditions. The dairy is equipped with all the modern technologies for processing and transforming milk in a completely safe manner, according to the sanitation standards in force.
Our cheeses are all made with raw sheep’s milk and natural rennet, collected and delivered daily for subsequent processing.
